Nash, Mikio, Kiyoshi, and Tang Mi Starstreamer
are four brothers. Quadruplets. And they have a strange, but rockin' history. Their band, the Starstreamer Stars, is a hit. Nash's glam metal band, Firestar? Badasses. All four have impressive musical talent, but under the southern rockers are some bad pasts, and great survivals.. Rather than being born, the boys were created by the... rather crazy... King of Planet Callasicaillia, The king, though he had a good intention, had flawed logic.
See, Starstreamer is not a last name, but the name of a species of star angels, which went extinct millennia ago.
From a computer anda few chips, King Herrdal had had some success, creating four female Starstreamers, now he wanted to create males. But, in an accident, he dropped the tiny chips. Picking them up, he thought all was fine. But microscopic pieces had broken from them.
Not knowing this, he went on to create our guys. And quite soon, they glitched.
Starstreamers never had disabilities. Something in their biology prevented it. The king tried, tried, and tried to fix the glitches. But Nash ended up blind. The king was able to restore movement to Mikio's legs, but not enough strength to stand. Kiyoshi's mind was messed up, the boy was made rather bipolar. And Tang Mi? Stripped of his confidence. But not his courage.
When the king realized he'd goofed and couldn't fix it... He couldn't stand to kill his own children himself. He opened a portal, to a planet far away called Earth. On an old highway, to be taken quickly. But who could run over a baby??!
Picked up by a highway patrolman, the boys were adopted out, though... Not by the kindest people. The boys for some reason could only age up to five years, so it was easy to take advantage of them. It wasn't until later that they learned a form of magic to make them appear their age.
Kiyoshi was the lucky one, with a good home. He was taken in by a foster parent, an elderly man in Magnolia, Texas, who later proceeded to adopt the boy. There was hard work to be done on that small, backwoods farm, but Kiyo was pretty helpful, and his new grandfather was supportive.

Tang Mi was taken up all the way to Wyoming, where he was adopted, and taken out to a ranch. However, life was not a breeze. First of all, the boy was thrown out in a shed and disregarded. He did almost everything on the ranch by himself, he'd be beaten if he didn't. He rarely got food or sleep, unless he'd steal from the field. He was abused like hell, but toughed it out. But could he ever bring himself to fight back? Nope.
Nash was taken all the way to France, by some people who thought they'd get away with torturing him (Supposedly, for an experiment.)by moving to another country. At this point, we really have to wonder... What is wrong with some people?? Kept in a backyard without shade or shelter, Nash had difficulty from the start. He was the first of his brothers to discover he could fly without wings. so when caught doing so, his 'guardians' put chicken wire over the top of their fence. It was a short fence, and as Nash grew, he eventually got to where there was no standing up. One winter, there was a storm, a huge, frigid one. Nash was not allowed inside. in fact, his 'mother' poured a bucket of water on him during the storm, to supposedly give him a bath. Now, though Nash was blind, he wasn't stupid. He'd dug a hole. Almost like a little den, that he had made shelter out of. So rather than freezing, he curled up in a hole. Honestly, it was thanks to a wandering homeless man that he was found by the police and returned to the U.S., where he legally belonged.
Mikio seemed unlikely to make it, when authorities found him in a third story apartment in New York City. A family had abandoned their apartment, but neighbors kept hearing someone crying for help, a child. He'd been locked in a room where the family threw the corpses of their dead animals they didn't take care of, leaving a boy who couldn't move in a room of feces, corpses, and made him watch as some animals were thrown in still alive, as sick as the child got, he'd still drag himself over to give the living animals a bit of love before they died. needless to say, many tears were cried. And the room. Stank. The child was sick, and couldn't walk. Otherwise, he could have totally escaped just by walking out. But unable to stand, he couldn't reach door handles, locks, or windows. But as sick as he was, man, that boy can sing! Really, he's quite tall.
Mikio, Nash, and Tang Mi felt a connection, when they met at the shelter. A DNA test proved them triplets, and so, as siblings, they were kept together. But they needed a place to go. The authorities knew Kiyoshi's grandfather had taken great care of Kiyoshi. And that's where their quadruplet was found, and knowing they were brothers, the old man took in all three along with Kiyo.
Mikio was a talented singer, Tang Mi had rhythm, Nash could play one badass bass, and Kiyoshi could play a guitar like a pro. Fourth grade. The boys still looked five. But they competed in a talent show, and they were a hit. People actually would ask them to play! It was a bit absurd, but by the time they were in the seventh grade, (And by this point had developed magic to make themselves look and sound their age,) they had a record deal, and were known as the Starstreamer Stars. A southern rock group, with abit of flair. but however much money they got, they stayed with their grandfather, to take care of him and help out on the farm. (Mikio mainly stayed inside and helped with the house, as it wasn't very fun to get stuck...)
Nash later on started a second band, Firestar, named by his guitarist, Mickunae Sramielle, and the name was used by the singer who had no last name until, Vincent Firestar, and the drummer, Tia Longmont, later known as Queen Tia Von Muilliae of Damcylinnae, was funny as hell. But in contrast to his brothers' southern rock, this was glam metal. Needless to say, it had its influences on the Starstreamer Stars...
